ORLANDO, Fla. – Mia Robinson, a sophomore forward, has been named the D2CIDA Women's Soccer National Player of the Week for her exceptional performance during the week of October 27-November 2.
Robinson totaled eight points, as she scored three goals and assisted on two, to lead the Cougars to a 2-0 week. Against Montevallo, the Camden, S.C. native scored twice and assisted on two more goals in just 53 minutes of play, as she led her team to a 5-1 win. In her second game of the week, she scored once to help propel the Cougars to a 6-0 victory over Albany State.
With her dominant offensive showing, Robinson has now recorded seven goals and five assists this season.
National Players of the Week are selected by a volunteer committee of Division II Conference Information Directors (D2CIDA) from nominations submitted by conference offices.
