Gruendemann Named Second-Team All-PBC for 2024-25 Season

He picks up his second career PBC selection

AUGUSTA, Ga. Columbus State University men's golf student-athlete Martin Gruendemann was named as one of the 2024-25 Peach Belt Conference Men's Golf Second-Team All-Conference selections, the office announced on Thursday.

The graduate student from Hamburg, Germany earns his second All-PBC honors of his career. He has been named PBC Player of the Week once this season and one win under his belt during the 2024-25 campaign. Gruendemann is one of six individual listed on Second-Team while there are five others on the First-Team.

According to Scoreboard powered by Clippd, Gruendemann is 46th in the nation and 14th in the regional with a 71.1 scoring average on 27 rounds. He has one win this season as an individual as well. Martin has garnered two top-ten finishes this season and three top-15 placements across nine events, finishing under-par in six of the tournaments. Outside of his win, his best performance came last week at the Argonaut Invitational where he finished seven-under and placed seventh out of 81 players.

The PBC Elite 18 Award, which is modeled after the NCAA Elite 90 Award, is given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average at the championship.
