INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Columbus State University men's golf team was selected to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional, the NCAA announced earlier this weekend.
20 teams and eight individuals will compete in an event that will take place May 8-10 at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., hosted by the Greater Orlando Sports Commission and Rollins College.
The Cougars are one of six Peach Belt Conference programs to earn a regional berth, joining Lander, North Georgia, Georgia Southwestern, USC Aiken and Flagler. CSU was slated at fifth in the Southeast Regional standings.
The event will take place May 8-10 at Mission Inn Resort and Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., hosted by the Greater Orlando Sports Commission and Rollins College.
At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 19-23 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on the regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships, with the maximum number of teams from a given region capped at seven - which is the south/southeast. The finals will be hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic and the Palm Beach County Sports Commission.
