The tradition of excellence continues for Columbus State University Tennis as both the Cougars and Lady Cougars gear up for the 2025–2026 season.

COLUMBUS – The tradition of excellence continues for Columbus State University Tennis as both the Cougars and Lady Cougars gear up for the 2025–2026 season. With championship aspirations, veteran leadership, and an infusion of new talent, CSU enters the year ready to compete at the highest levels of the Peach Belt Conference and NCAA play. Head Coach Evan Isaacs will once again guide two programs built on depth, discipline, and determination as they look to make their mark on the courts.

Men's Tennis Outlook
The Columbus State Men's Tennis team enters the season with championship aspirations and a proven tradition of excellence in both the Peach Belt Conference and NCAA play. With a strong core of returners, the Cougars will look to once again compete for conference and national titles.

Leading the way is a seasoned group of upperclassmen who bring experience in high-stakes matches and the ability to set the tone at the top of the lineup. A blend of talented newcomers adds depth across singles and doubles, giving Head Coach Evan Isaacs flexibility in pairings and match strategy. The emphasis this season will be on maintaining consistency in dual matches, sharpening doubles play, and building momentum heading into postseason tournaments.

With the PBC always one of the toughest conferences in Division II, the Cougars will need to bring focus and energy each week. Early-season tests against nationally ranked opponents will provide valuable benchmarks for a squad eager to climb the rankings.

Women's Tennis Outlook
The Lady Cougars open the season focused on development, depth, and pushing toward a top-tier Peach Belt finish. After showing flashes of strong form last season, this year's roster features a balanced mix of veterans and promising young players ready to take on bigger roles.

The returning leaders provide stability at the top of the lineup, while incoming talent bolsters competition throughout singles courts three through six. In doubles, CSU will prioritize aggressive net play and cohesion—two areas that can swing tight matches against regional rivals.

Season Goals
  • Compete for Peach Belt Conference titles in both men's and women's tennis
  • Earn NCAA postseason berths and make deep runs in national play
  • Strengthen doubles consistency and lineup depth across the board
  • Develop younger players to complement experienced leaders
With tradition, talent, and drive on their side, the Cougars and Lady Cougars are poised for another exciting year on the courts.
