OKATIE, S.C. — The Columbus State University Women's Golf team delivered a strong performance this week, finishing second overall at the Oldfield Intercollegiate, held at the Oldfield Golf Course and hosted by the University of South Carolina Beaufort.

Columbus State concluded the two-round tournament with a team score of 40-over par, posting rounds of 22-over in the opening round and 18-over in the final round to secure the runner-up finish in the competitive field.

The Lady Cougars were led by Sydney Himes, who produced one of the top individual performances of the tournament. Himes finished tied for first overall at 5-over par, carding rounds of 1-over and 4-over to share medalist honors and pace the Columbus State lineup.

Also turning in a strong showing for the Lady Cougars was Nathariya Phimsoutham, competing as an individual, who finished tied for fourth overall at 6-over par after posting rounds of 4-over and 2-over during the event.

Peyton Maraman provided another solid performance for Columbus State, finishing tied for 18th overall at 9-over par with rounds of 6-over and 3-over across the two days of competition.

Kennedee Pearson and Mia Arroyo each finished tied for 30th overall at 13-over par. Pearson recorded rounds of 6-over and 7-over, while Arroyo opened with a 9-over round before improving to 4-over in the final round.

Rounding out the Columbus State lineup was Anna Holley, who finished 70th overall at 32-over par, posting rounds of 19-over and 13-over during the tournament.

Columbus State will return to action later this month when the Lady Cougars host the CSU Lady Cougar Classic on Monday, March 30, and Tuesday, March 31, at Green Island Country Club in Columbus, Georgia.
