Men's Tennis to Serve as Southeast Regional Host

INDIANAPOLIS – The 3rd-ranked Columbus State men's tennis team has been selected as the second-seeded team and site host for the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Southeast Regional, as announced on Monday evening.

The Cougars earned the Peach Belt's automatic bid after winning the 2026 PBC Tournament and will serve as the host of site No. 2, taking on seventh-seeded Belmont Abbey College at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, at the John W. Walden Tennis Center.

Fellow Peach Belt members Flagler College and Lander University earned the third seed and sixth seed in the bracket, respectively, and will face off in Columbus at 2:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon. The winners of each contest will take the court on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. for a chance to advance to the regional finale.

Columbus State finished the 2026 regular season 19-2 overall with a perfect 6-0 record in conference play. 

CSU will be making its 16th straight and 25th overall NCAA Tournament appearance, having advanced to the National Championship match four times since 2018, winning the 2018 title and finishing as the runner-up in 2019, 2021, and 2023.
