Billy Key was a very dedicated and influential member of the Columbus State University Athletic Fund Board since its inception. A quiet and productive supporter of Columbus State University, He has a very genuine love for athletics, for young people, and has a special passion for the game of golf. Mr. Key consistently stepped to the forefront and took a lead role in everything from fundraising and promotions to recruiting. Without him, the entire Columbus State University Athletic Department (the golf program in particular) would not have been as competitive as they have been, nor reached the heights they have achieved in the way of conference, regional, and national titles.
