Nicole Corcione was a standout for the Lady Cougars soccer program during 2013-16. While at Columbus State, Corcione tallied 48 goals and 34 assists for a total of 130 points across 94 career matches played. During her time, the Lady Cougars earned four Peach Belt Conference Championships, three PBC Tournament title, three NCAA Regional Championships, a pair of NCAA Semifinal appearances, and one NCAA National Championship appearance.
 
She racked up numerous awards for her athletic and academic efforts while in the red and blue. Corcione opened her career at CSU as the 2013 PBC Freshman of the Year and earned Second-Team All-PBC honors in the same season. She followed with First-Team All-PBC honors, PBC Tournament Most Outstanding Player recognition, and was selected as a NSCAA Third-Team All-American in the 2014 season among many other awards.
 
In 2015, Corcione was selected PBC Player of the Year, All-PBC First Team, Southeast Region First Team (D2CCA, NSCAA), D2CCA Region Player of the Year, NCAA All-Tournament Team, and First Team All-American (D2CCA, NSCAA). She concluded her career as an All-PBC Second Team selection and an D2CCA Region Second Team selection in 2016. In addition, Corcione was a two-time CoSIDA All-American (2015, 2016), NCAA Division II Elite 90 Award Recipient (2016), and two-time PBC All-Academic Team (2014, 2015).
