The 71 runs scored was a single season record that stood for 24 years. He earned 2nd team All-Region honors during his senior season. Lester still holds the CSU single season record for most walks in a season. He is a .355 career hitter with 21 doubles, 22 home runs, and he struck out 37 times in 377 career at-bats.
