Set baseball records at that time for most career victories with 22 wins and seven losses for a .759 percentage. For his career he finished with a 1.97 ERA, allowed 49 earned runs in 233 1/3 innings in 37 games. Batted .349 over his junior and senior season (15-43). Had a career high of 15 strike outs against William Cary College. He was NAIA District All-Star selection and named to the Southern States Conference All-Star team in 1973.
