Cortney Laughlin Wilson continued the legacy of the Columbus State University cheerleading program by helping the Cougars win a Peach Belt Conference championship in every year she competed. In 2007-08, she collected the Cougar Rookie of the Year Award as well as assisting CSU to the Universal Cheerleaders Association College National Championship in 2008 and 2011. Wilson represented the CSU Cougars and Team USA at the 2010 International World Cup, where she finished first in the All-Girl team division. She was the recipient of the Rebecca “Granny” Davis Award in 2011.
