The most dominant runner in Columbus State history, Koyiaki led the program for a pair of seasons. Koyiaki is the only Cougar runner to be named an All-American, garnering the honors in 2009 and 2010. In his two seasons with the Cougars, Koyiaki captured back-to-back Peach Belt Conference individual championships while being named the PBC Runner of the Year both years.

On the national level, Koyiaki turned in a ninth-place finish in 2009 and nearly captured the national championship finishing in second place in 2010. Over two seasons, Koyiaki came out the victor in every regular season meet he competed in. He currently holds the Columbus State record in the 8k and 10k cross country runs and the 800-meter, 1,500-meter and 5,000-meter races in track & field.
