Gained acclaims for his hustle and play making abilities in two seasons as a starter for Columbus College. Was a member of the school’s 1964-65 team that won the Georgia Junior College regular season Championship and the GJCC Tournament Championship. Best game as a freshman against Brevard College scoring 18 points in a regional overtime victory. Averaged 8.2 points per game as a sophomore. Won the team’s ‘Mr. Desire Trophy” two years.
